Welcome to Sudachan!
I'm Cindy Masuda, creator of Sudachan. Sudachan started simply because I couldn't find dachshund greeting cards that captured the fun, playful spirit of my own dachshunds, Frodo and Sam. I dreamed of creating a line of dachshund greeting cards, but life got in the way and I soon forgot about it. After a hockey injury left me unable to work, it was the perfect time to revisit my dream. I taught myself how to use illustration software and drew my first illustration of Frodo and Sam. I opened my Etsy shop with one card design and soon many more designs and products followed.
More than 10 years later, Sudachan has become more than a business. Both of my doxie boys have since passed on, so every illustration is a celebration of their lives and a way for me to honor them. When you look at my illustrations, I hope you can feel the fun, love and joy that was inspired by my boys. If one of my creations makes you smile or sparks a memory of your own doxie baby, then I couldn't be happier.Ā Ā I love learning about your doxie babies, so please feel free to share your dachshund stories and photos with me.Ā
